I don’t often get requests to do solo portrait sessions but I absolutely love doing them! There is a much more intimate connection between my camera and a subject if there aren’t more people involved like for a couple or family shoot. Something about photographing solo portrait sessions feels really special to me.
I met Rishani at the Harbour Bridge in Sydney where we started taking pictures and then we drove through the city to take more portraits at Macquarie’s chair and its beautiful surrounding with all the old fig trees. It was a beautiful, mild summer afternoon although windy as is typical for any Sydney harbour shoot. I had such a great time with this girl!
