It was a stormy and cold afternoon in autumn in the Royal National Park in Sydney. Despite the wind, the light rain and the chill in the air, Belinda and Gigi were excited to get their beautiful engagement photos taken. They seem like the kind of couple who brighten up the mood everywhere they go, find fun in everything they do and are perfectly content to just be around each other no matter what’s happening around them. Especially Belinda’s bubbly personality is very uplifting. 🙂
Gigi is from Brazil and Belinda has Italian roots. I really love how international Sydney is and that I always meet other people who are from overseas like me. I always find it fascinating to hear what brings people to this city. Is it work, a holiday that turned into a long-term stay or is it love maybe? I can’t get enough of people’s stories. In Belinda and Gigi’s case they met in a bar – and that is that :). Fast forward a couple of years and here they are – getting married soon.
For the engagement session we went to Audley in the Royal National Park at the most Southern edge of Sydney. We hired a rowing boat at Audley Boat Shed and I took some pictures of Gigi and Belinda looking all snug and romantic in their boat (while in reality fighting off the wind :D). I had a fantastic time shooting pictures of these two and Gigi got a great exercise session from it. Win/win!
Did you know Audley is actually a beautiful wedding venue too? Check out Audley Dance Hall’s website here.
